The Plastic Problem
Some 8 million tons of waste enter the ocean by way of the direct route from sources on land each year. Some 80 to 90 percent of this plastic entered into the seas comes from single-use or disposable items: a plastic bottle, bag, or a piece of packaging used only once and disposed of. Water bottles certainly play a big role in it. Global plastic bottle consumption stands at over 1 million every minute, while less than one-tenth of these bottles are sent for recycling. The rest find their way into dumps, rivers, and natural venues, where they will stay forever for about hundreds of years before decomposing.

Manufacturing partnerships are also aligned with the company's values and make ethical sustainable sourced and low-waste garments.
Loch was founded in 2021 with a vision to focus initially on single bottled branded products, but is working towards becoming a purpose-oriented wide functioning business. While expanding, provocation on ever growing issues of waste in modern society will be addressed alongside the company's initiative to tackle fashion waste in the sustainable industry.
